Tokyo DisneySea will be celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2026. To mark this special occasion, Tokyo Disney Resort has announced that the Tokyo DisneySea 25th “Sparkling Jubilee” special event will be presented from April 15, 2026, through March 31, 2027. This celebration will revolve around the official color for the anniversary, “Jubilee Blue,” which is inspired by the beauty of the seas at Tokyo DisneySea.
The “Sparking Jubilee Celebration” will feature Mickey Mouse and friends sailing into Mediterranean Harbor aboard a specially decorated barge. They will be joined by more Disney friends who will be waiting at the harbor when everyone comes together to celebrate this wondrous occasion. At Waterfront Park in American Waterfront, the stage show “Dance The Globe” will begin on January 4, 2026, ahead of the big celebration. Disney friends will be making appearances in the anniversary event theme song during this time. During the show, Mickey Mouse will invite his friends to celebrate rich cultures and vibrant entertainment, with a festival to showcase a variety of dance and music styles from countries near and far.
When night falls, the wall of Tokyo DisneySea Hotel Mira Costa will be transformed into “Sparkling Jubilee Night” with a special image projection accompanied by the 25th anniversary theme song “Come Join The Jubilee.” A figure at the Arabian Coast will also be illuminated in Jubilee Blue to enhance the festive atmosphere.
Guests who purchase a special bottle can visit Jubilee Blue Memories, a special installation themed to the anniversary event. The special themed activation will be presented in dazzling Jubilee Blue color on Ponte Vecchio, a bridge in Mediterranean Harbor, for a limited period starting April 15, 2026. The special bottle will be available at Rimembranze, a shop located on Ponte Vecchio. The guests will be able to select a “Jubilee Blue Stone” to store in their bottle and take home. Guests will also be able to take keepsake photos in the activation.
Other special programs include the S.S. Columbia Jubilee Gala, offered for a fee and presented at S.S. Columbia, the luxury ocean liner at the Waterfront. The interior of the ship will be specially decked out for the event and includes special dishes served in the S.S. Columbia Dining Room, free refills of drinks served at The Teddy Roosevelt Lounge, exclusive merchandise included in the program, commemorative photo opportunities, and other unique offerings for a truly grand experience.
Cast Members will await guests with their Jubilee Blue name tags, and guests can enjoy the anniversary event even more by wearing the special event’s key merchandise item, “Jubilee Badge,” to celebrate the anniversary of Tokyo DisneySea.
As is common with most Disney celebrations, there will be specialty merchandise available beginning April 8th, 2026. The lineup features plenty of Jubilee Blue in a number of different designs, as well as simple everyday items with the signature blue color. The ever-popular Duffy and Friends will also have special merchandise themed to the 25th anniversary. This will be available beginning April 14, 2026.
