In 2026, The Muppets will be taking over Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Ahead of their arrival, work is already getting going. Fans visiting Walt Disney World Resort on Monday, December 1st, discovered that the pre-show for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith had been removed. Where the following scene was once seen, now walls with the G-Force Records logo can be found.
This starts the process of transforming Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith into Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets. This new version of the attraction is set to open at Walt Disney World Resort in the summer of 2026. A closing date for the current version of the attraction has not been announced yet.
When Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets opens in 2026, it will include audio-animatronic figures of some of The Muppets, including Scooter! Disney shared that Scooter, in his capacity as band manager, along with a dedicated team of penguin audio engineers, will be doing his best to convince the Electric Mayhem to stop laying down tracks so they won’t be late for their own concert.

The Electric Mayhem are headlining their biggest Hollywood concert ever! Anyone who’s anyone is in attendance to witness Animal, Dr. Teeth, and the rest of this groove-tastic group rock the house down. There’s just one little problem: the band is nowhere to be found!
Across town at G-Force Records, we’re treated to a VIP tour of the legendary rock and roll recording studio. Things might look a little different around this Hollywood institution, as the label has recently come under new management – The Muppets! We’re happy to say that our colorful crew has landed some new digs… with just a little help from Scooter’s uncle, real estate tycoon and owner of the Muppet Theatre, J.P. Grosse (he really puts the G in G-Force). Just wait until you see how they’ve made these hallowed halls their own, creating the perfect place to make sweet, sweet Muppet music together!
