The Disneyland Resort has revealed a preview of what is coming in 2026. As people prepare their travel plans for the upcoming year, dates, events, and offers have been announced by the Happiest Place on Earth! This includes how long the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration will continue, the arrival of Bluey, Halloween Time, Holidays at the Disneyland Resort, and more! 2026 New & Returning Offerings
Bluey’s Best Day Ever!
Opening March 22, 2026
Bluey’s Best Day Ever! will be opening on March 22, 2026, and continue throughout the year at the Fantasyland Theatre in Disneyland. This will celebrate the heart and humor of the critically acclaimed Disney+ animated series, Bluey.
This promises to be an immersive, family-friendly celebration that will transform the Fantasyland Theatre into the grounds of Bluey’s school. Guests will be able to join in the fun of Bluey’s best day ever. Throughout the day, Blue and her sister Bingo will make appearances live on stage as they join a troupe of comedic actors and musicians. Together, they will bring the popular music and games that are so iconic from beloved Bluey episodes. This will inspire families and guests of all ages to join in and participate in the fun.
The experience will include live musical show moments that will segue into iconic games like Keepy Uppy. There will also be interactive adventures in a life-sized Gnome Village and Fairy Garden. On top of that, guests will be able to step into the fair at Bluey’s school with the Grannies, Chattermax, Unicorse, and also delight in select themed fave foods at Troubadour Tavern that are inspired by the hit series.
Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run New Mission
Debuts May 22, 2026
Guests will be able to experience a new mission when they fly on Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland. This new story will be centered around The Mandalorian and Grogu, which arrives on May 22nd, just in time to debut with the new Star Wars film, which will also be arriving in theaters that weekend. Hyperspace Mountain
Returns April 28, 2026
Hyperspace Mountain will be returning for a limited time starting April 28th. This will be one of several Star Wars experiences that will be offered during this time at Disneyland. More details will be coming soon.
Soarin’ Across America
Debuts July 2, 2026
As part of the celebration of the 250th anniversary of the United States of America, Soarin’ Across America will debut at Disney California Adventure on July 2nd. This new airborne adventure will showcase the country’s natural beauty and iconic cityscapes. More information can be found here.
2026 Seasonal Offerings
Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration
Now – August 9, 2026
The Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration will continue through August 9, 2026. This celebration will see some favorite offerings returning in January, including Paint the Night, Wondrous Journeys, and the Celebrate Happy Cavalcade, along with Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and friends in their 70th outfits. World of Color Happiness will continue through the celebration as well.
Lunar New Year
January 23 – February 22, 2026
The Lunar New Year celebration will be returning to Disney California Adventure from January 23 through February 22, 2026. This year, the celebration will ring in the Year of the Horse. Horace Horsecollar will be making appearances throughout the joyous festival that honors Chinese, Vietnamese, and Korean traditions. Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse will be returning in their Korean-inspired outfits. This year will also see Disney characters debut new outfits with representations of Vietnamese and Chinese attire. There will also be the opportunity for guests to meet a character from the Pixar Animation Studios film Turning Red.
Celebrate Gospel
February 20-21 and February 27-28, 2026
Celebrate Gospel is moving to the Downtown Disney District for two weekends that will be full of performances by community choirs in Southern California. This year’s headliners will be Hezekiah Walker on February 21st and Yolanda Adams on February 28th.
Anaheim Ducks Day
February 22, 2026
Anaheim Ducks Day will be returning once again to Disney California Adventure on February 22nd. This will feature appearances by some of the Anaheim Ducks players, along with Wild Wing. There will also be hockey-themed entertainment and activities, photo opportunities, and more!
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival
March 6 – April 27, 2026
The popular Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival returns from March 6 through April 27th. This will celebrate the epicurean bounty of the Golden State. There will be the opportunity to explore and enjoy limited-time food offerings, beverage seminars, culinary demos, and family-friendly entertainment during this annual offering.
Disney on the Yard – Yardfest: Powered by Celebrate Soulfully
June 19, 2026
Disney on the Yard – Yardfest: Powered by Celebrate Soulfully is a community event that will be returning to Downtown Disney District for its second year. During the day, guests will be able to join a celebration of the spirit and traditions that may be found at historically Black colleges and universities. This will include drum majors and Drum Major Mickey Mouse, accompanied by a drumline.
D23 Day at Disneyland Resort & Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Party
August 13, 2026, and August 13-16, 2026
D23 Day at Disneyland Resort is returning on August 13th, and Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Party returns from August 13-16. D23 Day at the Disneyland Resort kicks off the countdown to D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. This day is full of magical surprises, themed moments, and fan-favorite experiences that celebrate the worlds of Disney at the Disneyland Resort.
Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Party is a celebration of all that comes from Disney Jr.! The first day is tailored for young children at Disney California Adventure and includes live entertainment, Disney Jr. characters and activities, and fun photo opportunities. The party then extends into a three-day event at Downtown Disney District for the remaining days.
Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort
August 21 – October 31, 2026
Enjoy the fun of Halloween most magically with festive frights and pumpkin delights returning for guests of all ages to enjoy during Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort. This takes place from August 21 through October 31st and includes seasonal attractions, family-friendly entertainment, and autumnal offerings throughout the Disneyland Resort.
Plaza de la Familia at Disney California Adventure
August 21 – November 2, 2026
Plaza de la Familia at Disney California Adventure takes place from August 21st through November 2nd and continues the annual tradition of celebrating the everlasting bonds of family and the spirit of Día De Los Muertos. This is inspired by the Pixar Animation Studios film Coco.
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort
Begins November 18, 2026
The Holidays at the Disneyland Resort will be returning to the Disneyland Resort starting on November 18th. While no end date has been announced yet, families will be able to enjoy a wide range oc holiday traditions during this magical and merry season. This will include seasonal décor, jolly entertainment, and festive foods. The season of celebrations will also include Disney Festival of Holidays at Disney California Adventure.
2026 Separately Ticketed, After-Hours Events
2026 will also see the return of separately ticketed, after-hours events at the Disneyland Resort. This will include the following events that will be happening on the following dates. For these special events, guests will get a mix-in time before the park closes, lower wait times for attractions, special food and merchandise, and special character and entertainment offerings!

Oogie Boogie Bash
The incredibly popular Oogie Boogie Bash will be returning to Disney California Adventure in the late summer of 2026. This year sees the Halloween party being offered on more dates than ever, and also starting earlier than ever. The first of the 33 nights will be on August 18, 1016. More 2026 Offerings
New Restaurants and Shopping at Downtown Disney District
Recently, Downtown Disney District has welcomed Disney Wonderful World of Sweets, Parkside Market, Disney Storyland Boutique, and Nectar Life for guests to enjoy. This coming year will see more new offerings at including the opening of Earl of Sandwich and Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby, as well as athletic apparel retailer lululemon. Specific dates have not been announced at this time.
Disneyland Railroad Guided Tour
Returns January 16, 2026
2026 will see the return of the Disneyland Railroad guided tour. This will return on January 16th, with booking becoming available on Disneyland.com starting January 8. This will give guests the opportunity to take a journey that discovers Walt Disney’s passion for trains and also ride in the Presidential Car of the Disneyland Railroad, the Lilly Belle.
Expansion Work
Work on some of the expansion projects that are happening around the Disneyland Resort is expected to begin in 2026. Construction will begin in both the Esplanade and Disney California Adventure as part of the future expansion of the Disneyland Resort. This will ultimately see the opening of the first-ever attraction themed to Pixar Animation Studios’ Coco and also the future Avatar destination. There is also construction already underway for the expansion and new attractions for Avengers Campus.

Kids’ Summer Ticket Offer
May 22 – September 7, 2026
A limited-time Kids’ Summer Ticket Offer will be available to purchase starting on January 21, 2026, for visits that happen between May 22nd and September 7th.
This offer will be available for children ages 3 through 9 and offers tickets for them to visit the Disneyland Resort for as low as $50 per child per day with 1-Day, 2-Day, and 3-Day Park Hopper ticket options. Lightning Lane Multi Pass may be added on for an additional fee.

California Resident 3-Day Park Hopper Ticket Deal
January 1 – May 21, 2026
The California Resident 3-Day Park Hopper Ticket Deal will go on sale on December 3, 2025. Eligible California residents can purchase 3-Day Park Hopper tickets for as low as $83 a day per person. This adds up to $249. Or, guests can purchase a 3-Day Park Hopper ticket with Lightning Lane Multi Pass for as low as $117 per person per day for a total cost of $351. Guests can utilize this offer for visits to the Disneyland Resort between January 1 through May 21st. The savings are based on regular-priced Adult 3-Day Park Hopper Tickets.

Hotel Savings
January 1 – May 21, 2026
There are savings of up to 25% to be had on stays of three or more nights between January 1st and May 21st at a Disneyland Resort hotel. These offers are subject to availability and restrictions.
For stays during the summer, stays of four or more nights from May 22 through September 7th at a Disneyland Resort Hotel can see savings of up to 25%. Reservations for this offer will be available starting January 21st and are subject to availability and restrictions.
Plan Ahead
There will be a lot of different offerings at the Disneyland Resort in 2026. While planning for the upcoming year, keep the following things in mind:
- Theme park reservations open 180 days ahead of dates
- There are different ticket prices for different dates, some as low as $108
- Select Magic Keys to resume sales on January 13, 2026
- Hotels at the Disneyland Resort can be a good way to extend a stay
- There are also 50+ Good Neighbor Hotels around the Disneyland Resort to provide more options
