The dates for the release of Tron: Ares, both digitally and on disc, have been revealed. Tron: Ares will arrive on December 2 on digital platforms, including Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango at Home. The film will be available on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray and DVD starting January 6, 2026. The film expands on the original Tron and Tron: Legacy movies, with Director Joachim Rønning’s Tron: Ares, which explores the battleground between AI and humanity. This is done with state-of-the-art visual effects, action scenes, and a cutting-edge soundtrack by Nine Inch Nails.
A limited-edition SteelBook will be available when the physical release of this movie arrives. It will feature custom artwork and packaging that evokes the franchise’s glow, speed, and high-tech aesthetic. There will also be a Tron franchise 3-Movie Collection that will offer the entire evolution of the Grid in one bundle. This will include the 1982 classic Tron, along with Tron: Legacy and finally Tron: Ares, included in this digital and DVD collection.
