The Sanctum is an incredible new bar aboard the Disney Destiny. When guests visit and experience this new bar, they will be transported to the spellbinding world of Marvel Studios’ Doctor Strange.
Throughout the bar, there will be designs that bring Doctor Strange’s story to life. This includes velvet curtains that are stepped through to enter The Sanctum. Inside this entertainment parlor, there is no shortage of atmosphere that is full of magic and mystery. There are rich red and gold accents found throughout that draw inspiration from Doctor Strange’s Cloak of Levitation. This magnificent cloak happens to also be on display, along with some other familiar icons and trinkets, in The Sanctum.
Throughout this parlor, design details draw from Doctor Strange’s New York Sanctum. Guests will find that the carpet pattern is inspired by his prized medallion collection. There is also a circular focal point behind the bar that echoes the chamber’s iconic skylight. It is backlit with color-changing capabilities that are meant to represent the powerful forces that protect The Sanctum from supernatural invasions.
Along with the collection of mystical artifacts, there is also no shortage of a magical array of mocktails, cocktails, spirits, and even coffees! Guests can witness the art of mixology with some entrancing tableside beverage experiences. There are also unique menu items that will seemingly materialize from across the multiverse.
Some of the highlights on the menu include the Mirror Dimension. This is served in an interactive glass and is garnished with electrifying dust to leave taste buds tingling. There is also the Circle of Cosmos that is presented mysteriously in an upside-down glass with a lemon peel spiral. There are also some delicious treats to try, including the signature stuffed waffle with custard cream or mixed berry compote filling.
It isn’t just about what can be seen, eaten, and drunk at The Sanctom, though. There will also be a variety of spellbinding activities that can be experienced. This includes creative craft relaxation, lively trivia challenges, and musical performances in the evenings for adults. The Sanctum promises to be an enchanting destination for all who cruise aboard the Disney Destiny
