I am not a huge treats/sweets guy. I tend to prefer savory. If I were to choose between a fancy dessert and a nice steak, I’d almost always choose the nice steak. However, I do love me a good gingerbread man cookie from the Disneyland Resort. I don’t need anything fancy, I just want the simple and classic gingerbread man. In a perfect world, I’d be able to get one right after riding Haunted Mansion Holiday. After all, you see and smell the incredible gingerbread house in the Haunted Mansion, and that always makes me crave a gingerbread man when I get off the attraction. Someday I’ll get smart and buy a gingerbread man before I get on the ride so I can eat it the moment I get off.

There is something simply happy about eating a gingerbread man from the Disneyland Resort. They are great from other places as well. However, a cool evening with a gingerbread man and the “snow” coming down on Main Street, U.S.A., with all of the Christmas lights around you… Well, that’s just hard to beat! I guess you could add a cup of hot coffee or cocoa, and that would add to the magic. However, the Disneyland Resort gingerbread men stand solidly on their own!

When I think about the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort, eating a gingerbread man is always one of the first things I think of. I don’t get them very often to keep them special. Most years, I only have one. However, I cherish that one gingerbread man. It is delicious, and I look forward to the next one the following year. I am always very thankful for my annual gingerbread man. They are a simple and lovely treat!
