On this day in 1970, actor, author, and director Ethan Hawke was born. His breakout acting role was in Disney’s ‘Dead Poets Society’ in 1989. In the 1990s, Hawke went on to appear in Disney’s ‘White Fang’ and its sequel ‘White Fang 2,’ ‘Alive,’ and ‘Quiz Show.’ Most recently, he played Arthur Harrow in Marvel’s ‘Moon Knight’ streaming series. Hawke’s career has spanned four decades to date on both stage and screen. He won a Daytime Emmy Award and is a multi-award nominee. [55 years ago in 2025]
