The Disney Destiny has arrived at Port Canaveral this evening as it is getting closer to officially joining the Disney Cruise Line fleet. This milestone comes ahead of the Disney Destiny’s christening on November 10th in Fort Lauderdale.
The newest ship to join the Disney Cruise Line fleet, the Disney Destiny, is the first to have Heroes and Villains as its themes. When guests take to sea aboard her, they will get to experience the legendary stories from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Disney Parks. This will be done through new experiences that can’t be found anywhere else in the world. The ship’s maiden voyage casts off on November 20, 2025. This will be followed by an inaugural season of four- and five-night cruises with visits to The Bahamas and Western Caribbean from Port Everglades.
The Disney Cruise Line shared the following video and photos of the Disney Destiny as it arrived in Port Canaveral on November 2nd.

The celebration for the launch of the Disney Destiny, the Disney Cruise Line is working with local organizations in The Bahamas and in Florida. The goal is to inspire students through the arts with a new initiative called “Discover Your Destiny.” This is a program that brings the magic of theater into classrooms to offer students a behind-the-scenes look at entertainment careers. Students will get to engage with Disney Cruise Line’s creative professionals and explore their talents, and learn about exciting opportunities in the industry. This initiative will also encourage these students to dream boldly about their futures.
