On this day in 2000, The Disney Channel Original Movie ‘Mom’s Got a Date with a Vampire’ premiered (on Friday the 13th!). The teenage Hansen kids need a way to distract their single mom so they can go out for the evening, even though they are grounded. They set her up with a mysterious man who seems perfect at first. But soon, spooky sightings convince the kids that their mom’s date is actually a vampire! Van Helsing is called in as the kids go on a mad dash to save her. [25 years ago in 2025]
