Something that Disney does very well is helping those who can’t look after themselves. For 45 years, Disney has partnered with Make-A-Wish to help make wishes come true for kids with critical illnesses. While millions of kids are able to enjoy the magic of Disney with their families and friends each year. Kids with critical illnesses don’t have the same opportunities. Thanks to the partnership of Disney and Make-A-Wish, over 170,000 wishes have been granted since the first one was granted at the Disneyland Resort.
Fast forward to 2025, and Disney didn’t just partner with Make-A-Wish. Disney also partnered with YouTube superstar MrBeast. MrBeast was joined by other star creators to help make creator-related wishes to 40 kids at the Happiest Place on Earth! On top of that, this also took place during Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort to add extra magic! Every one of these creators, some of the largest in the world, is a wish-granter, and all came together to bring attention to the life-changing power of a wish.
This is just one of many ways that Disney continues to dream up exciting new ways to make wishes come true. In fact, a wish is granted every hour of every day for kids facing critical illnesses.
This event is one case of many that demonstrates how much good can be done when people use their influence for good. Each of these creators and also The Walt Disney Company has plenty of influence and the opportunity to make a difference. This is an opportunity that wasn’t wasted. The opportunity was seized, and from this, kids were given wishes that brought joy and hope to their lives. The granting of these wishes also gave the chance to inspire these kids for what possibly could be in the future. That is a gift in itself.
The ongoing partnership between Disney and Make-A-Wish makes the world a better place with each wish that is granted. Adding in MrBeast and the other top creators just adds to the impact. Who knows what unintended things will end up happening because of this day? Who knows what one of these kids will be inspired to do or be someday?
