A typhoon is heading towards Hong Kong. Because of this, Hong Kong Disneyland is modifying its operations. A notice has been posted on the Hong Kong Disneyland website sharing what these modifications are. The notice says the following:
Under Strong Wind Signal No. 3, the park will open with limited operations, while all outdoor attractions will be suspended. For the latest show times and attraction availability, please check our official website regularly.
If Typhoon Signal No. 8, 9, 10, or “Extreme Conditions” is issued or announced during the park’s normal operating hours, the park will close early. Guests who entered the park using a valid park ticket may retain their original ticket and use it for revisit on any day within six months from the date of early closure.
Hong Kong Disneyland will accommodate guests who have already entered the parks if the weather forces an early closure. Guests will be able to visit the park within six months and utilize the ticket from the day that the park closed early because of the typhoon. More details about the weather impacts, along with tips, can be found here on the Hong Kong Disneyland website.
Hong Kong is readying itself for the arrival of Typhoon Ragasa. Currently, it is expected that the airport in Hong Kong will remain open. However, it is expected to significantly reduce flights after 6:00 PM on Tuesday and Wednesday. All schools in Hong Kong and Macao will be closed for two days. Sandbags are being provided for flood-prone areas in Hong Kong. People living in low-lying areas of Macao are being warned that they should be prepared to potentially evacuate.
Daps Magic will continue to monitor this storm and provide updates as they become available.
