The Disney Ambassador team for the 2026-2027 Tokyo Disney Resort Ambassadors has been announced. This comes just days after Disney Ambassadors were announced for Disneyland and also for Walt Disney World Resort. The Disney Ambassador for Aulani has also been revealed. This week, Tokyo Disney Resort announced that Shingo Kameda and Hikaru Hamanaka will be the 2026–2027 Tokyo Disney Resort Ambassadors. This comes after months of interviews and narrowing down to the two Disney Ambassadors from over 120 cast members who applied for the role.
Shingo Kameda and Hikaru Hamanaka will serve a term of two years as goodwill ambassadors for Tokyo Disney Resort. This term will begin on January 1, 2025, as it does with all of the Disney Ambassadors. It will continue until December 31, 2027. During this time, the duo will share Disney dreams and stories with people across Japan through a variety of different outreach activities.
Shingo joins the Disney Ambassador team from the Theme Park Operations team. There, he has made many guest experiences that are full of smiles. This is something he would like to continue to do as a Disney Ambassador. He said, “I became a cast member to bring smiles to as many people as I can. As a Tokyo Disney Resort Ambassador, I want to work together with my fellow cast members to share happiness with our guests near and far.”
Hikaruo also came from Theme Park Operations. Becoming a Disney Ambassador is a dream come true for her. “It was my childhood dream to become a Tokyo Disney Resort Ambassador, so when my name was called, I thought I was dreaming,” said Hikaru. “I was overcome with gratitude for all my colleagues who supported me.”
Shingo and Hikaru will be representing all Tokyo Disney Resort cast members starting in the new year. They will bring the magic of Tokyo Disney Resort to Japan and the world through television and media appearances, goodwill activities, charitable work, and more.
