On this day in 1955, actor Wayne Knight was born. He may be best known for his roles as Newman on ‘Seinfeld,’ Dennis Nedry in ‘Jurassic Park,’ and Don Orville in ‘3rd Rock from the Sun,’ but he has voiced many animated characters for Disney as well. Just a handful of these are the toy collector Al McWhiggin in ‘Toy Story 2,’ Emperor Zurg in the ‘Buzz Lightyear of Star Command’ TV series, adult Tantor in ‘Tarzan,’ and Demetrius in ‘Hercules.’ [70 years ago in 2025]
