Destination D23: A Journey Around the Worlds of Disney has started at Walt Disney World Resort. This weekend will be full of magical moments, announcements, and experiences. One of the offerings that can be enjoyed by guests is the Walt Disney Archives exhibit. Called Walt Disney Archives Presents Charting the Course – Disney’s Global Stories & Inspirations, this exhibit shows fans the development process while also going on a tour of artifacts from around the world.
The tour starts with photos dating back to Walt Disney’s trip down to South America and then continues up to names and projects that would be recognizable today. These photos cover a wide range of projects. There is also a sketch book (complete with drawing) and boots that are Joe Rhode’s.
Moving further into the exhibit, there are paintings, models, puppets, and more to be found from different parts of the world. Walking around the exhibit gives not just a look at a variety of movies and theme park projects, it also gives a look at different parts of the world. There are things to see from right here at Walt Disney World and also much further away.
Daps Magic was among the members of the media invited to go on a guided tour of this Destination D23 exhibit. Below is the guided tour along with some more looks at this exhibit.
