Star Wars: Starfighter has gone into production. The Ryan Gosling led film also stars Amy Adams, Flynn Gray, Matt Smith, Mia Goth, Aaron Pierre, Simon Bird, Jamael Westman, and Daniel Ings. It is being directed by Shawn Levy and set to arrive in theaters on May 28, 2027.

Star Wars: Starfighter is an original Star Wars film. It is also a stand alone adventure.
Along with announcing that the film has gone into production, a photo was also released. This gives a tease for what is coming and is the first official glimpse of the film that has been shared.
The film is produced by Levy and Kathleen Kennedy. Executive producers are Ryan Gosling, Dan Levine, Mary McLaglen, and Josh McLaglen. The script is by Jonathan Tropper.
