Shanghai Disney Resort has announced its fall and Halloween festivities for guests to enjoy. This includes the celebration of Duffy Month, Howl-O-Ween, and pirates taking over Treasure Cove. Below is a look at the variety of different offerings that will be available for guests to enjoy during the autumnal season at Shanghai Disney Resort. This includes new costumes, offerings, and more!
Celebrate Duffy Month at Shanghai Disney
Starting on September 1 through September 30, celebrate Duffy and Friends all month long with fabulous florals! Over at Mickey Avenue, discover picture-perfect photo opportunities, including a Duffy themed-floral and miniature sets to capture special moments with your Duffy and Friends plushes.

All-new outfits for Duffy and Friends are in full bloom this season, each representing a different flower!

Even Mickey Mouse will be sporting a freshly picked outfit showcasing hibiscus mutabilis.
“Enjoying The Moon with Duffy and Friends” Returns
Duffy Month also brings the return of the daily show, “Enjoying the Moon with Duffy and Friends.” The special edition of the show incorporating Shanghai Opera elements will take place every Sunday starting September 7 and throughout the month.
In collaboration with the Shanghai Huju Opera Theatre, this special edition show will feature a performance of the Duffy Month theme song, “Let’s Get Together,” in front of the Enchanted Storybook Castle.
Limited-Time Duffy and Friends Treats
You can also savor limited time treats during this special month, from Osmanthus Mini Dumpling Crepe with Strawberry Ice Cream and Minnie Mouse Osmanthus Muffin at CookieAnn Bakery Café to the osmanthus-flavored gelato and ice cream at Il Paperino.
The fan-favorite Duffy and Friends Themed Afternoon Tea at the Royal Banquet Hall and the Autumn Season Brunch at Shanghai Disneyland Hotel’s Lumière’s Kitchen will also be filled with a selection of treats and seasonal flavors.
New Duffy and Friends Merch to Celebrate
For those wanting to wear all things floral, two new merchandise collections are coming to Shanghai Disney Resort.
Mickey and Friends Garden Stroll Collection will offer plush and plush keychains of Mickey and Friends wearing elegant outfits featuring blossoms, butterflies, and persimmons, or you can buy your very own floral-themed headband adorned with laces, ribbons and pearls.
Duffy and Friends Floral Dream Collection gives you the opportunity to wear their new autumn looks with accessories such as cross-body bags, headbands and jewellery. For the perfect gift this holiday season, the Duffy and Friends mooncake set and tea set are crafted for sharing with families and friends.
Seas the Season with Pirate-themed Shows, Games, and More
Frightfully delightful happenings are ready to emerge at Shanghai Disney Resort, beginning October 4 to November 1! Seas the Halloween season with two new swashbuckling experiences at Treasure Cove.
In the brand-new show “Buccaneer Bash,” join Captain Nova and her crew for an immersive evening of pirate mischief and carnival games. Set against the backdrop of Treasure Cove, the nighttime event combines live performances, interactive activities, carnival games, food, and merchandise.
Arrr you ready for an all-new immersive pirate theme at Barbossa’s Bounty? There’s even a brand-new array of dishes in store — stay tuned for more details on the seaworthy fun and fare to come.
Wickedly Irresistible Villain Encounters
The Disney Villains are plotting their festive plans and this season Mother Gothel, from the Walt Disney Animation Studios film Tangled, is joining for the first time at Shanghai Disney Resort.
You might spot this frightful group at daily encounters around the park or during surprise appearances on the Enchanted Storybook Castle balcony.
More Tricks, Treats and Seasonal Surprises Await
The Halloween season reaches its peak with the arrival of the iconic Halloween Spook-tacular Days. Now extended to eight whole days, spanning every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from October 17 to November 1, there are even more opportunities to enjoy the exclusive offerings.
Mickey and Friends, Duffy and Friends, as well as Pooh and Friends, are stepping out this Halloween in all-new looks that capture the spirit of this spellbinding holiday. And over at Zootopia, the annual “Howl-O-Ween” celebration returns.
