‘Only Murders in the Building’ Reveals New Pictures and Asks a Question

Ahead of the arrival of the fifth season of Only Murders in the Building on Hulu on September 9th, some new photos have been released and a question has been asked: “Who killed Lester?” The following photos were shared on social media by the series that stars Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez:

ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING – After their beloved doorman, Lester, dies under suspicious circumstances, Charles, Oliver and Mabel refuse to believe it was an accident. Their investigation plunges them into the shadowy corners of New York and beyond — where the trio uncovers a dangerous web of secrets connecting powerful billionaires, old-school mobsters and the mysterious residents of the Arconia. The trio discovers a deeper divide between their storied city they thought they knew and the new New York evolving around them — one where the old mob fights to hold on as newer, even more dangerous players emerge.

The new photos have been shared after a trailer for the season was released recently. The cast for the season was also shared. Here is the list of actors who are connected with Season 5 of Only Murders in the Building:

The fourth season of Only Murders in the Building saw the podcasting sleuths head to California to make a movie. There, they also end up investigating the murder of Sazz Pataki (Jane Lynch), who was Charles’ (Steve Martin) stunt double and friend. This led to questions about if she was the intended victim. It also led to a whole new part of the Arconia with a whole new group of inhabitants. The end of the season also ended with yet another murder at the Arconia.

During season four, the three main podcasters get Hollywood versions of themselves for their movie. The guest stars in these roles for their movie were Eugene Levy (Schitt’s Creek) as movie Charles, Zach Galifianakis (The Hangover films, Between Two Ferns) as movie Oliver, and Eva Longoria (Deadly Housewives, Flamin’ Hot) as movie Mabel. Other guest stars included Molly Shannon, Kumail Nanjiani, Melissa McCarthy, Desmin Borges, Siena Werber, Lilian Rebelo, Richard Kind, Daphne Rubin-Vega, Catherine Cohen, and Jin Ha. Meryl Streep also made her return as Oliver’s love interest, Loretta Durkin.
