The Disney Cruise Line has been honored with a top spot from Travel + Leisure. The specific honor is being named Best Large-Ship Cruise Line in Travel + Leisure’s 2025 World’s Best Awards list. The travel outlet’s readers chose this spot.
The survey that made this choice included nearly 180,000 travel enthusiasts. They shared that they most enjoyed Disney Cruise Line’s innovative rotational dining concept, along with the signature hospitality that Disney is known for. This, coupled with the exceptional entertainment, Disney character sightings, and more that are found on the Disney ships, makes for an exceptional travel experience.

Travel + Leisure generated the results for this survey by asking its readers about several key areas to determine the rankings. This includes:
- staterooms and other accommodations;
- food offerings;
- quality of service;
- itineraries and destinations;
- onboard and in-destination excursions and activities;
- perceived value.
This honor comes ahead of the arrival of two new ships in the Disney Cruise Line fleet later this year. The Disney Destiny will be going on its maiden voyage with guests in November. This will be followed by the Disney Adventure in December. This is part of a substantial expansion of the Disney Cruise Line fleet. Ultimately, this will lead to 13 Disney ships by 2031.
