In 1963, Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room at Disneyland. With the debut of the Audio-Animatronic birds in Adventureland, an iconic Disney legend was born that has been loved by fans for decades since. After the original attraction Disneyland, a second iteration was created for the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort. This was followed by yet another version of the attraction when Tokyo Disneyland opened in 1983.
When the attraction opened on April 15, 1983, it was a Japanese version of the original show that was presented at Disneyland in the United States of America. This show would continue until 1999, when it was replaced by The Enchanted Tiki Room: Now Playing Get The Fever! In this version, the attraction took on a Las Vegas nightclub setting. It also removed the four host birds from the original show (José, Michael, Pierre, and Fritz) and replaced them with four lounge host birds: Danno, Scats, Buddy, and Lava (the first female host bird). This version of the attraction was replaced in 2008 by the current iteration.
The Enchanted Tiki Room: Stitch Presents Aloha e Komo Mai! brings Stitch from Lilo & Stitch into the attraction. The Tiki Room birds begin their usual performance—until Stitch crashes the party. After playfully disrupting the show with graffiti and pranks, Stitch reveals he just wants to join in. The birds forgive him, and together they celebrate with music and aloha spirit, ending in a joyful performance of Aloha, E Komo Mai.
Recently, the Daps Magic team experienced The Enchanted Tiki Room: Stitch Presents Aloha E Komo Mai! while visiting Tokyo Disneyland. Check out the full performance of the show here:
