On this day in 2022, Marvel’s ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ was released in the U.S. It was a sequel to ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ and ‘Avengers: Endgame,’ making it the sixth movie in Marvel’s Phase Four and the 29th MCU movie overall. ‘Love and Thunder’ was the first MCU film to use StageCraft video wall technology, also called “The Volume.” In the film, Thor sets out on a new quest for inner peace but has to combat Gorr the God Butcher, who seeks vengeance against all gods.
