On the 100th anniversary of the wedding of Walt and Lillian Disney, a special private event was held on Main Street, U.S.A. at Disneyland. This event was a window dedication to honor Lillian Disney and her contributions to Disneyland. This happened early in the morning of July 13, 2025. This continues a tradition that was started by Walt Disney and continues at Disney Parks throughout the world today.

The new window can be found across from The Mad Hatter in the middle of the Disney Showcase above the bench where there is a lovely balcony with plenty of colorful flowers. Disney Parks and The Walt Disney Family Museum shared the following photos of this new window and location on social media.
The tradition of the window dedication at Disneyland is a way for The Walt Disney Company to honor individuals or organizations (like Make-A-Wish) that have made significant contributions to Disneyland (or whatever park the window is at) and its history. Generally, these windows are presented as a fictional business or organization that connects with the person’s contributions, interests, or hobbies. Getting a window dedication is one of the highest tributes that can be bestowed upon an individual by Disney.
Lillian Disney was born on February 15, 1899. She worked at the Disney Studio where she met and then Walt Disney on July 13, 1925. She is credited with suggesting that Walt use the name Mickey Mouse instead of Mortimer. The two had two daughters, Diane Disney Miller and Sharon Mae Disney. They remained married until his death in 1966. Lillian passed away at the age of 98 in 1997.
