Over the weekend, the Disney Cruise Line and Walt Disney Imagineering gave a look at some larger-than-life puppets that are in development for the upcoming Hercules musical aboard the Disney Destiny. These puppets will be how the Titans are brought to life during this musical. Today, the Disney Cruise Line shared concept art for what the Titans will look like as Hercules faces off against them on the stage. The following image was shared on social media:
The Disney Destiny is set to go on its maiden voyage on November 20, 2025. When it does, guests will be able to see Disney Hercules in the Walt Disney Theater. This Broadway-style musical will be inspired by the film of the same name from Walt Disney Animation Studios. Already, rehearsals are underway for this production. It will be one of many different exciting entertainment offerings aboard the ship that is themed to heroes and villains. Other offerings will include the Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King, Cafe Megara, De Vil’s, Edna Á La Mode Sweets, The Sanctum, Cask and Cannon, and more.
For Disney Destiny’s maiden voyage, the ship will depart on its four-night sailing from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. During the cruise, it will make stops at both of Disney Cruise Line’s island destinations, Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. Following the maiden voyage, the Disney Destiny will be sailing on four- or five-night cruises to The Bahamas and Western Caribbean with a stop at one of these two island destinations.
