A marquee moment indeed! Installation of the new marquee at Test Track presented by @generalmotors has begun! The design echoes the attraction’s architecture, while incorporating the new logo in illuminated letters that will look amazing both day and night.
At this point, there isn’t an official opening date for the newest version of Test Track. Test Track is expected to reopen at EPCOT by late this summer, though. Guests visiting EPCOT have already noticed that the attraction has been tested with vehicles driving around the outside of the building.
This will be the third version of Test Track when it reopens. The first version, or 1.0, soft-opened in December 1998. It officially opened in March 1999. The second version of Test Track came to EPCOT in 2012. This version closed in June 2024 to make way for the next version. Before Test Track came to EPCOT, the space was the home of World of Motion.

When it reopens, Test Track will be celebrating today’s innovation as it highlights the past, present, and future. As guests make their way through the queue, they will see six exhibits. Each room will celebrate the vehicles and the people behind the vehicles, who push the envelope and help get people to the next chapter in the journey of motion.
There will also be new show scenes in the attraction. These will showcase technological advances and how our lifestyles and relationships to mobility connect everyone. Guests will go on a joy ride through scenes that focus on onboard technology, customization, and personalization. This will be followed by a trip through a scenic outdoor route to remind people of the joys of driving, taking in the world around us, and spending quality time with friends and family.
A specific reopening date has not been announced for Test Track. It has just been announced that it will be opening in late summer 2025.
