On this day in 1960, the Puffin Bakery closed on Main Street, U.S.A. at Disneyland. It was located on the west side of the street, just to the left of the Penny Arcade. The Puffin Bakery was an opening day dining location and sold assorted pastries and snacks, either for take-out or for dine-in at tables by the windows. Contrary to today’s standards, none of the food items were Disney-themed. The Puffin Bakery was replaced with the Sunkist Citrus House. [65 years ago in 2025]
