‘Lilo & Stitch’ Comes In On Top At The Box Office Once Again

Lilo & Stitch continues to show its strength at the box office. This weekend, it again won the top spot at the box office. This is the third weekend in a row it has done this. In North America, the film brought in $32.5 million. It has now made $335.8 million domestically and $436.8 million internationally. In total, it has now earned $772.6 million globally.

As Lilo & Stitch nears the $800 million mark, it will also face new competition next week. The live-action How to Train Your Dragon will be arriving in theaters. This will be followed by Pixar’s Elio. Both films will erode some of the fan base that is currently captivated by Lilo & Stitch. Even with these films joining the summer competition in the coming weeks, Lilo & Stitch is still steaming steadily towards the $1 billion mark at the box office.
