Disney’s Celebrate America! – A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky Magic Kingdom Walt Disney World

GUIDE: 4th of July Entertainment at Walt Disney World Resort

The 4th of July is just a couple of weeks away. For many Disney fans, this is a time to visit their closest or favorite Disney park to celebrate Independence Day. On the West Coast, Disneyland Resort will be celebrating with Disney’s Celebrate America! – A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky in the skies over Disneyland on the 4th of July. At Walt Disney World Resort, there will be some more options for fireworks and festivities. Below is a look at the currently scheduled 4th of July festivities at the Most Magical Place on Earth!

Fireworks light up the sky and illuminated image projections create a patriotic exterior on Cinderella Castle at the Magic Kingdom in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. Spectacular fireworks displays with brilliant bursts of light coloring the night sky above the theme parks have been a Walt Disney World Resort entertainment specialty for decades. The July 4th fireworks typically are one of the most elaborate nighttime spectacles ever seen at a Disney theme park. (David Roark, photographer)

There is also the Creating Tradition: Innovation and Change in American Indian Art, with a diverse collection of traditional and contemporary artistic expressions from 40 different American Indian tribes. Finally, check out Portraits of Courage: A Commander in Chief’s Tribute to America’s Warriors. This exhibit, on loan from the George W. Bush Institute, has portraits of service members and veterans who have served in military uniform with honor since 9/11.
