The Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration is in full swing at the Happiest Place on Earth! This includes entertainment, merchandise, food and beverage offerings, and many other magical experiences. One of the entertainment offerings that has returned for this celebration is Wondrous Journeys. This nighttime spectacular has been offered nightly throughout the summer for the milestone celebration. On the 4th of July, it will take a night off. Instead, Disneyland will be presenting Disney’s Celebrate America! – A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky.
Disney’s Celebrate America! – A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky first debuted in 2008. Since then, it has become a tradition as it lights up the night with beautiful fireworks, patriotic music, and now projections and other special effects as well. Daps Magic has recorded this nighttime spectacular multiple times through the years. It has been altered as time has gone by and new ideas have come to life. This patriotic nighttime spectacular will be presented at 9:35 PM on the 4th of July. If previous years are any indication, it could be quite busy as people come to the park to see these fireworks and celebrate Independence Day. At this point, it is unknown what other patriotic entertainment offerings will be offered on the 4th of July. Generally, the Dapper Dans will be decked out in their patriotic costumes. Often, military bands will also perform around the Disneyland Resort for the holiday. If and when that information becomes available, Daps Magic will provide updates.
