On this day in 2010, award-winning songwriter and Disney Legend Randy Newman received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The star is located at 6667 Hollywood Blvd. in front of Musso & Frank’s Grill. Newman began his career at age 17 and went on to earn multiple Oscar, Grammy, and Emmy awards for his music. For Disney and Pixar, Newman composed songs for the ‘Toy Story’ franchise, ‘A Bug’s Life,’ ‘Monsters, Inc.,’ ‘Cars,’ and ‘The Princess and the Frog.’ [15 years ago in 2025]
