On this day in 2020, the final episode of ‘Star Wars: The Clone Wars’ premiered on Disney+. The events of the show take place between ‘Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones’ and ‘Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith.’ Called “Victory and Death,” the finale was part of a new 12-episode 7th season that aired six years after the original series left off. Supervising Director Dave Filoni cited the enormous support of fans as the reason the series was revived. [5 years ago in 2025]
