The new home for the Earl of Sandwich continues to see progress in the Downtown Disney District. Once it is complete, this will be a location for both quick-service diners and table-service diners. There will be the traditional walk-up offering that fans know and love. It will also have The Carnaby Tavern upstairs. This will offer a table service experience for guests that is inspired by the ’60s “British Invasion” pop and rock bands from the U.K. There will be both indoor seating and patio seating, along with an indoor/outdoor full-service bar. Below is what the building looks like as of May 11, 2025. Much of the framing has gone up, and it appears that it is getting close to having walls added as well. Check out some photos that the Daps Magic team took here:
Currently, there are Earl of Sandwich locations open at either end of the Downtown Disney District. Both of these will be closing at some point. The one near the Esplanade will be leveled, and then a Porto’s will be built in its location.
