Port Royal Curios and Curiosities Closes Permanently at Disneyland

The Port Royal Curios and Curiosities shop in New Orleans Square has shuttered its doors permanently. The shop, through the years, has offered different merchandise. Recently, the shop sold Haunted Mansion merchandise. With the opening of Madame Leota’s, this was redundant.

With the shop closed, the space will become a seating area in the short term. This will be a good move for those who have grabbed food at the Royal Street Veranda and are looking for a place to eat. The long-term plan has not been shared as options are being explored. It is possible that this could become a part of an extended queue for Pirates of the Caribbean. Daps Magic team member Steven stopped by the location this week to check out what it looks like currently. Below are pictures of the former Port Royal Curios and Curiosities shop, and also a look at how the space next to it is currently closed from Pieces of Eight.
