On this day in 1984, Donald Duck’s footprints were set in cement at the Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, California. Clarence “Ducky” Nash, Donald’s original voice actor, assisted with the impressions and wrote his name alongside Donald’s. The ceremony coincided with Donald’s 50th birthday year and was only one of several honors for the #1 Duck. Unfortunately, it was one of the last events that Ducky Nash attended, as he passed away about nine months later.
