On Friday, May 16, 2025, the Disneyland Band debuted a new march along with Mickey Mouse and friends. The moment not only included new looks for the band and characters, but also new music! There were some similar moments as well. The very beginning of the march along as the band made its way through the castle and out to forecourt was mostly the same. From there, everything was fresh and new!
The band performed some music from Disneyland to introduce the different sections of the band. This led to the arrival of Mickey Mouse and friends. They had a new fun introduction as well. It even included the Hot Dog Dance song from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Here is a look at this opening moment:
The band then made its way down Main Street, USA with guests invited to march along. This is where more new music appeared. A new Disney Afternoon medley debuted that was an immediate hit by those who were watching. After the medley, the band was joined by the Dapper Dans and continued to Town Square as they all played/sang I Just Can’t Wait to Be King from The Lion King.
In Town Square, the band, characters, and Dapper Dans stopped for a performance of the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration, Celebrate Happy! This was received very positively with cheers upon completion.
