On this day in 2005, Walt Disney Records released four new albums to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Disneyland. These were “50th Anniversary: A Musical History of Disneyland,” “Julie Andrews Selects Her Favorite Disney Songs,” “The Official Album of the Disneyland Resort: The Happiest Homecoming on Earth,” and “Walt Disney Records Presents: Wishes!” “A Musical History of Disneyland” was the most extensive release in the history of the label!
