On this day in 2005, “Disney’s Rock Around the Mouse” opened at Tokyo Disneyland. The musical extravaganza took place in the hub and was themed to a 1950s American drive-in. The show celebrated the 50th anniversary of the original Disneyland Park in California. Mickey, Minnie, and the gang jived to some of the hottest 1950s rock ‘n’ roll hits. Uninvited guests Gaston, Cruella, and the Big Bad Wolf soon interrupted and challenged Mickey to a hotrod race! [20 years ago in 2025]
