Disney Adventure Nears Major Milestone in Journey to Joining Disney Cruise Line Fleet

The Disney Adventure is nearing another major milestone as it moves forward to become part of the Disney Cruise Line fleet later this year. The ship, currently in Pappenberg, Germany, is set to float out. In a post on social media, the news was revealed. It showed the massive ship preparing to leave the building where it was built with the caption, “We’re getting ready for something magical.”

The Disney Adventure will join the Disney Cruise Line fleet with its inaugural voyage on December 15, 2025, in Singapore. This will be just about a month after the Disney Destiny, a Wish-class ship themed to “heroes and villains,” joins the fleet.

The new ship has Mickey Mouse on the filigree on its bow. The stern will feature sculptures of both Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse. This is a first for a Disney Cruise Line ship.

The Disney Adventure, formerly the Global Dream, was purchased by Disney in 2022. It is a Global-class ship and will sail out of Singapore for at least five years. The ship is being constructed by Meyer Werft in Papenburg, Germany.

The Disney Adventure will offer sailings that are full of magic. This includes a Captain Jack Sparrow show, a Marvel Style Studio, a Disney Princess tea, a Duffy and Friends show and store, Bibbidi Bobbiti Boutique, and a whole lot more. All of Daps Magic’s coverage and details about this ship can be found on our Disney Adventure page.
