Paint the Night Parade

A Favorite Float Returns to ‘Paint the Night’ Parade at Disneyland

It has been years since Paint the Night brightened up the nights at Disneyland Resort. During this time, guests have been asking “When can we do this again?” When it was announced by Disneyland Resort that the answer to this question is May 16, 2025, the collective community was ecstatic. Paint the Night parade will be one of many entertainment offerings that will be enjoyed by guests when Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration kicks off in May.

Beginning May 16, 2025, and continuing through summer 2026, the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration will honor seven decades of happiness and many moments of joy in the making in Anaheim, Calif. Guests will be able to “celebrate happy” with limited-time entertainment, such as the fan-favorite dazzling nighttime parade, “Paint the Night,” featuring innovative floats, vibrant costumes, incredible special effects, unforgettable music and energetic performances. Plus, Anna and Elsa will rejoin the parade on the fan-favorite float inspired by Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Frozen” when it makes its return to Main Street, U.S.A., for the first time since its initial run. Today, an update to that announcement confirmed what many fans suspected. The Frozen float will be returning as a part of the Paint the Night parade. Anna and Elsa will be found on this float when this modern electrical parade returns to The Happiest Place on Earth! The previous run of the parade in Disney California Adventure did not include this float.

The Frozen float and characters will join others including Monsters, Inc., Cars, and Toy Story from Pixar and The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, and more from Disney. During the parade’s previous run through Disneyland, this is what the Frozen float looked like when it debuted during Disneyland’s 60th Anniversary:
