On this day in 1990, the International Gateway first opened at EPCOT. This second entrance allows guests staying at the area resorts to access the park easily. Its opening came just after the debut of the Swan Hotel in November 1989 and just before the Dolphin’s opening in June 1990. Soon after in November 1990 came the Yacht Club Resort and then the Beach Club Resort. The International Gateway opens up between the UK and France Pavilions. [35 years ago in 2025]
