This lounge will be found in Spaceship Earth itself looking out over World Celebration and in the distance World Showcase. It will surely be a popular destination for Disney fans looking for a little rest and relaxation during a day at EPCOT. Today, Disney shared a timeline for the opening of the Spaceship Earth Lounge.
In a post on the Disney Parks Blog, it was revealed that the new lounge will be opening in late spring. When it does, the elegant lounge will honor the intertwined history of Spaceship Earth and EPCOT itself. This will be a celebration of the legacy of the icon’s past while also admiring its future.
It won’t just be a beautiful location, however. It’ll also be a place to stop for some delicious tastes as well. Disney chefs have been hard at work creating delicious culinary creations that will pair perfectly with the elegance of what is being billed as an elegant, extraordinary, and intimate setting.
Guests visiting the Spaceship Earth Lounge will get to enjoy the breathtaking views of EPCOT from a completely new angle when they visit. They will also be inspired by the stories and legacy of this iconic structure. It will also offer a unique perspective of the nightly fireworks. Disney says that this “secluded retreat invites you to raise a toast to the enduring spirit of EPCOT.”
