It’s Tough to Be a Bug! is a 4D film/experience/attraction that is shown in the theater underneath the Tree of Life at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Based on 1998’s A Bug’s Life, the opened with the park in 1998. Soon it will be replaced by a new attraction based on the world of Zootopia. The announcement was initially made at Destination D23 in 2023. This week, Disney provided an update on the process.
The new show, Zootopia: Better Zoogether!, will be arriving at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in the winter of 2025. This does not mean in the next few months, it means at the end of 2025 when the winter begins at Walt Disney World Resort. Then guests will get to “join Judy Hopps, Nick Wilde and more for a new wild adventure that will make you want to clap your hands.’
Along with announcing an opening timeline, Disney has shared a poster for the attraction as well.
Judging by the poster, it would not be surprising at all if Gazelle also makes an appearance of some kind in this show as well.
