Food Items Inspired by “Mufasa: The Lion King” Now Available at Walt Disney World

“Mufasa: The Lion King,” a prequel to the 1994 Disney animated classic “The Lion King,” is in theatres now. Of course, a new Disney movie usually means treats and food inspired by the movie. Most of the items listed below can be found at Disney’s Animal Kingdom or Disney Springs at Walt Disney World.

First up is the Mufasa Cake Bar. This cake bar features a cinnamon-vanilla mousse and vanilla chiffon with caramel chocolate-coated Feuilletine crunch dipped in dark chocolate. Find this treat at Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs.

Next is the Mufasa Pride Rock Profiterole. It is a cream puff filled with chocolate cream and whipped coffee ganache. This treat is available at Creature Comforts in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Creature Comforts is the Starbucks location in the Park.

A specialty drink is also part of the celebration. The Sunrise of the Kingdom is a blend of freshly brewed green tea, strawberry, and Minute Maid Premium Lemonade topped with passion fruit boba pearls. Find this drink at various locations at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, as well as B.B. Wolf’s Sausage Co. in Disney Springs.

Next up is the Journey Across Africa. This dish features red beans cooked in coconut milk with ginger, turmeric, coriander, and tomato served over white rice. It is available at Tusker House Restaurant in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

The final food item that will be available is the Savory Tanzanian Pie. It is an African-spiced beef and lamb stuffed in naan, drizzled with spicy ketchup, and served with house-made chips. Find this snack at Harambe Markey at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
