The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh - Disneyland

The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh Reopening at Disneyland on August 29

Since Critter Country closed down on May 1st, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh has also been closed. Next door, Pooh Corner has remained closed as well. In that time, there have been quite a few changes in the neighborhood. Critter Country has a new name and has become Bayou Country and the Hungry Bear Restaurant is becoming the Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree. During these changes, the area has not been accessible. This all changes on August 29th.

The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh will be reopening on August 29th. The announcement was made via @DisneyEats on social media. With the reopening of this attraction about the “silly old bear” also comes the reopening of Pooh Corner. These will be the only two offerings opening in Bayou Country at this point. An opening date for Louis’ Critter Club and Ray’s Berets.

The reopening of Pooh Corner will also bring the arrival of a new sweet treat offering. The Blue Honey Pot Apple will be available in the candy store that also sells Winnie the Pooh Merchandise. It can be seen here:

Before the closure of Critter Country, the Daps Magic team stopped by to document what it looked like one last time. Photos of this day can be found here. A video tour of the area can be seen here:

Here is also a look at what The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh was like before it closed. It isn’t known if the attraction was updated during its closure. Seeing as the focus has been on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and transforming the area to Bayou Country, it is unlikely that there are any major changes inside the attraction.
