Jack Skellington returned to reside in the Haunted Mansion and transformed it into Haunted Mansion Holiday earlier this summer. For Halloween Time, Jack Skellington is also taking over the job of running the nighttime spectacular in the skies over Disneyland. That’s right, Halloween Screams has returned to Disneyland this Halloween Time to delight guests with Halloween frights in the sky above Sleeping Beauty Castle.
On Friday, August 23, 2024, Halloween Screams made its return to The Happiest Place on Earth. Guests began to line up to see this show hours in advance for the chance to see it right in front of the castle. As time got closer to the start of the show, the Hub and Main Street, USA also filled up. An announcement was made encouraging guests to go to the area near it’s a small world to watch the show.
The show began at 9:30 PM and guests were enthusiastic about its return. This Halloween tradition continues to prove to be quite popular. It has fantastic music, great fireworks, and also projections along Main Street, USA, on the facade of it’s a small world, and the water screens around the Rivers of America. The Daps Magic team was invited by Disneyland Resort to experience the first day of Halloween Time. This included getting to see the first showing of the year of Halloween Screams.
