There are many exciting announcements coming out about the Disney Destiny. This ship, which will join the Disney Cruise Line fleet in November 2025, will be a Wish-class ship like the Disney Wish and the Disney Treasure before her. The ship will be themed by the duality of the hero and villain story. This is the idea that the opposing forces of light and drive characters to rise to their destinies. The ship will be full of experiences from a variety of stories from Disney, Pixar, and Marvel. There will be no shortage of adventures to be had. Whether it is a dinner experience inspired by The Lion King or the Black Panther-inspired Grand Hall, there will be many offerings for guests to enjoy.
Along with these new adventurous experiences aboard the Disney Destiny, there will also be some fan-favorite experiences returning as well. These are experiences that are currently offered aboard the Disney Wish and Disney Treasure. Below is a look at some of these returning experiences from the other Wish-class ships for the Disney Destiny.
Walt Disney Theatre
The Walt Disney Theatre will be the place to catch some Broadway-style productions aboard the Disney Destiny. First, it will see the mounting of Frozen, A Musical Spectacular. This is a stage retelling of the frigid film from Walt Disney Animation Studios that is one of the most popular of all time (just ask my niece)! The second show that will be presented in the theatre is Disney Seas the Adventure. This is an original Disney Cruise Line show that features Captain Minnie Mouse, Goofy, and a bunch of other Disney and Pixar characters.
Pirate’s Rockin’ Parlay Party
The Pirate’s Rockin’ Parlay Party will be a nighttime spectacular that includes a live rock band and is unsurprisingly, pirate’s themed! This party includes Disney Cruise Line’s famous fireworks at sea. It also is a great prelude for adults before heading to the Cask and Cannon pub, which is inspired by the Pirates of the Caribbean.
Hero Zone
The Hero Zone is a great place to get into the middle of the action. This is a futuristic sports arnea where family can compete in The Incredibles-themed obstacle courses and also free-play sports.
Disney Uncharted Adventure
Disney Uncharted Adventure is a virtual quest that takes guests throughout the Disney Destiny. They will join their favorite Disney and Pixar heroes through thehelp of their mobile device.
Wonderland and Never Land Cinemas
The Wonderland and Neverland Cinemas is where guests can watch first-run films that come from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm and beyond.
Family Dining
There will be some wonderful family dining experiences found aboard the Disney Destiny. A new offering will be the brand new Pride Lands: Feast of the Lion King. This will allow guests to immersed in the story of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ The Lion King during this specially-themed dinner. There will also be some other fan-favorite dining experiences offered on this ship.
Worlds of Marvel
Disney Cruise Line’s Marvel-themed dining experience, Worlds of Marvel, will take guests on an out-of-this-world adventure. This will be with Rocket and Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy. What starts as a tribute to the Super Heroes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe gets sidetracked by Groot who decides to take over and take things to the next level. His real goal is to organize a surprise part for his buddy Rocket, just in time for dessert.
1923
1923 has its name because it is the year that The Walt Disney Company was founded. It will continue to celebrate the legacy of Disney animation in an elegant setting that also has classic Hollywood glamour. Throughout the restaurant, there will be over 1,000 drawings, props, and other tools of the animation trade that will be on display. The artwork of 1923 aboard the Disney Destiny will be appropriately enough showcasing the tales of heroes and villains in Hercules, Sleeping Beauty, Big Hero 6, Wreck-It Ralph, and more.
For the Adults
There will also be some wonderful experiences found aboard this ship that are made for adults. This will provide opportunities for adults to explore, relax, dine, and play in the variety of venues, offerings, and entertainment that are tailored just for them. Almost every bar and lounge on the ship will feature brand-new designs and menus that are inspired by the larger-than-life personalities of epic Disney stories. The returning guest-favorite adult offerings include:
Adults-Only Restaurants
Three restaurants will be returning from other Disney Cruise Line ships for this new ship. This includes Palo Steakhouse with its authentic Italian dining that also has the refinement of a modern steakhouse. Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallement will offer a gourmet, French-inspired cuisine that is served in a romantic and intimate atmosphere. The Rose will provide an idyllic setting for a pre-dinner apertif or perhaps an after-dinner cocktail.
Self Care
There will also be opportunities for adults to focus on their health and wellness. The Senses Spa will offer a tranquil oasis that offers indulgent spa and beauty treatments in private treatment rooms, lavish spa villas, and steam and aromatherapy rooms. Senses Fitness will offer a state-of-the-art exercise and wellness facility for guests who would like to work out. There will also be the chic high-end hairstyling and beauty services that are offered at the Untangled Salon. Hook’s Barery will offer a unique twist on a traditional men’s salon that will also have a “hidden” bar.
On the Upper Decks
There will also be plenty of fun to be had on the upper decks. There will be three distinctly themed districts that will offer opportunities for guests to enjoy some fun water features, dine in a quick and casual manner, or simply enjoy relaxing and soaking up the sun.
Mickey and Friends
The first district is themed to Mickey and Friends. This expansive district includes seven pools that are staggered among tiered decks that the whole family can enjoy. There will be an abundance of luxe lounge chairs and also an imagination take on fast-casual fare with a festive character twist. This is also where the AquaMouse will be found.
Water Wonderland
Water Wonderland is a district that is themed to Pixar’s Toy Story and aimed at the enjoyment of young cruisers. This area includes a splash zone, wading pool, family waterslide, and smoothie bar.
Quiet Cove
For adults looking for a peaceful refuge, Quiet Cove will offer sun-drenched serenity that is set away from the bustle of the family activities found in the other two districts. This includes a luxurious infinity pool, a poolside bar, and also a chic café.
For the Kids, Tweens, and Teens
There will also be experiences aboard the Disney Destiny that are made specifically for the kids, tweens, and teens. This will allow them to become heroes in their own adventures. There will be dedicated spaces for kids of all ages to offer imaginative programming facilitated with the care and expertise of Disney-trained counselors and offer special playtime with favorite Disney friends.
Disney’s Oceaneer’s Club
Disney’s Oceaneer Club is for children ages 3 to 10. These children will get to enter captivating worlds from their favorite Disney stories. This area will have immersive spaces that are themed to Marvel Super Heroes, Disney princesses, Star Wars heroes, Disney imagineers, and Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse!
It’s a Small World Nursery
It’s a Small World Nursery will offer babysitting services for youngsters that are aged 6 months to 3 years of old. This will be with the backdrop of a whimsical environment inspired by the iconic and beloved Disney attraction.
Edge
Edge is for tweens that are aged 11 to 13. It will have a fun environment where tweens can make friends and play games. The space will be bright and offer a colorful hangout that is inspired by a New York City loft.
Vibe
Vibe is for guests who are the ages of 14 to 17. It will be a trendy loft where teens can come to meet new friends, watch movies, play games, and participate in group activities that are created just for them.

Booking A Cruise on the Disney Destiny
The Disney Destiny will begin taking guests on voyages in November 2025. Booking for this ship will begin for Castaway Club members as early as September 6, 2024 and for the general public September 12, 2024.
