August 8th will be a very special day to be at the Disneyland Resort. D23 Day at Disneyland Resort will be celebrated throughout the resort. At Disney California Adventure, Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Party will be offering fun ways to celebrate a love of Disney Jr. friends and stories. This will be a celebration of favorite characters and series including Disney Jr.’s Ariel, Mickey Mouse Funhouse, SuperKitties, and much more!

Disney Jr. Cavalcade

At 10:30 AM along the parade route, fans will be able to see some of their favorite Disney Jr. friends during a special cavalcade. This cavalcade will also include drummers and dressed-up vehicles. This cavalcade will see Disney Jr.’s Ariel making her Disney Parks debut. She will be appearing on this day only at Disney California Adventure.

Hollywood Land

There will be a special Disney Jr.’s Ariel arts and crafts area in Hollywood Land. Throughout the day, families will also be able to have some fun with Disney Jr. friends as they perform live on stage. Kids will also get the chance to decorate cupcakes during Confection Purrfection with the SuperKitties.

There will also be the opportunity for families to find and interact with characters from several Disney Jr. series like Winnie the Pooh, Doc McStuffins, Sofia the First, and more!

Downtown Disney District

There will also be fun to be had at Downtown Disney District for Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Party. Throughout the afternoon (from 1:00 to 4:00 PM),  Downtown Disney LIVE! Stage will present a rotation of family-friendly entertainment. This includes a high-energy DJ leading dance parties with Disney Jr. music, upbeat live performances featuring favorite Disney Jr. characters, and a bubble show inspired by Disney Jr.’s Ariel. There will also be crafts to be made as well that are inspired by Disney Jr.’s Ariel.

All of these offerings will be happening while D23 Day at Disneyland Resort will also be celebrated throughout both parks and Downtown Disney District.
