The Disney Adventure is set to be the Disney Cruise Line’s biggest ship. When it begins taking guests to the seas next year, it will be packed full of magical experiences. This ship will be sailing from the Marina Bay Cruise Centre in Singapore starting in 2025. This is a first for any Disney Cruise Line ship. When it begins the three and four-night voyages, guests will get the ultimate vacation at seas that will be filled with immersive storytelling and captivating entertainment the likes that only Disney can offer.
“We’re bringing the magic of Disney Cruise Line to Asia for the first time ever, and we want to give our guests the cruise relaxation and Disney fun they can only experience aboard one of our ships,” said Sharon Siskie, senior vice president and general manager, Disney Cruise Line. “When they set sail on the Disney Adventure, guests will find incredible, immersive areas that bring the worlds of Disney, Pixar and Marvel to life in ways like never before – and these uniquely Disney experiences will inspire families to reconnect, recharge and make unforgettable memories that they’ll cherish forever.”
Magical Areas on Disney Adventure
Today, more details were revealed about this massive magical ship. The Disney Cruise Line released not only a “map” of the ship, but also shared what areas and offerings will be found aboard it. On different parts of this ship, guests will get to experience areas inspired by Disney, Pixar, and Marvel stories. Disney says that a cruise aboard the Disney Adventure won’t be just a journey, but also a destination in itself. It will bring to life Disney’s core pillars of storytelling. Guests will get to experience the magic of imagination, discovery, fantasy and adventure when they embark on cruises aboard this ship.
As they explore the ship, they will be able to discover seven uniquely themed areas. Each of these areas will be filled with characters and incredible experiences. Disney promises that there is so much to do aboard the ship that guests won’t need to leave it! Below is a look at the seven areas that demonstrate Disney’s pillars of storytelling. Imagination
The power of imagination, which opens doors to new adventures and emboldens dreamers to create magic of their own, will captivate guests from the moment they enter Disney Imagination Garden.
Disney Imagination Garden
The emotional heart of the Disney Adventure, this area will include an enchanted valley, charming garden, and also an open-air performance venue! This area will be inspired by over 100 years of heroic and heartwarming Disney adventures. This ranges from Moana on the high seas to Mowgli in the jungle. This is going to be an imaginative gather space that will ofer guests a gateway to their own unforgettable journeys!
Discovery
The spirit of discovery will inspire guests to chase the horizon, to see how far they can go, and to encounter surprising worlds beyond their own in the dynamic realms of Disney Discovery Reef, San Fransokyo Street and Wayfinder Bay.
Disney Discovery Reef
Go below the seas in this area where guests can shop and dine. The area promises to be both ethereal and ever-changing. It will be a retreat that evokes many favorite characters and nautical stories from both Walt Disney Animation Studios and also Pixar Animation Studios. Some of the stories that will be represented here will be The Little Mermaid, Lilo & Stitch, Finding Nemo, and Luca!
San Fransokyo Street
Guests will get to enter the world that they fell in love with when they saw Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Big Hero 6. San Fransokyo Street will be full of family entertainment that pulses with the energy and atmosphere of a vibrant street market. The area also will include an assortment of interactive games and activities, shops, cinemas, and more!
Wayfinder Bay
When guests visit Wayfinder Bay they will be called by “the line where the sky meets the sea” to a beautiful open-air oasis under the sun. Inspired by Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Moana, this is an area for relaxation and exclusive entertainment. This is a sophisticated yet casual poolside retreat that will reflect the Pacific Islands-inspired artistry of this beautiful movie. Along with the artistry, there will be some of the most incredible views of the sea and sky aboard the Disney Adventure found here.
Fantasy
The magic of fantasy draws on hopes, dreams and wishes to create whimsical new worlds from many of Disney’s most beloved and timeless stories, with fairytales made real in the enchanting and expansive Town Square.
Town Square
A visit to Town Square will be a visit to a celebration of Disney royals. This area is a magical land that is dedicated to those who wish up on a star and hope that their dreams come true. It will boast a fantastical forest that can be explored to find shops, lounges, cafes, restaurants, and entertainment venues. They will all exude the enchanting feeling of summer in full bloom. They will also have nods to Tangled, Cinderella, Frozen, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, The Princess and the Frog, and so much more!
Adventure
The heart of every Disney adventure is the irresistible thrill and joyful delight of boldly embarking on new and exciting experiences, a feeling guests will dare to discover within Marvel Landing and Toy Story Place.
Marvel Landing
Here is where heroes will come together. A destination for fans of all ages, this is an area that celebrates Marvel’s larger-than-life personalities. This area will offer Avengers-level adventure and include new attractions and experiences that showcase imaginative representations of guests’ favorite Super Heroes!
Toy Story Place
Inspired by the world of Pixar’s Toy Story movies and shorts, this area will offer the opportunity for guests to explore, create, connect, and have fun in a whimsical and interactive play land. There will be themed food venues and water play areas. Guests who visit will find that their favorite Toy Story stories are springing to life in some surprising and inventive ways!
A New Magic On the Seas
Disney Cruise Line is known for the magic it brings to the seas. The Disney Adventure will be taking that to a whole new level. Not only will it be the largest ship in the Disney Cruise Line ship, it will also be completely packed full of magical offerings and opportunities. Disney’s New Adventure
The Disney Adventure is a new adventure for Disney Cruise Line. As mentioned above, this will be the first time a Disney Cruise Line ship will be based in Singapore, in this case the Marina Bay Cruise Centre. For at least five years, this ship will be sailing on three- and four-night cruises as part of a collaboration between the Disney Cruise Line and Singapore Tourism Board. At this time, Disney Cruise Line estimates that the Disney Adventure will have a passenger capacity of approximately 6,700 people. This will be complimented by 2,500 crew members. The ship itself will be 208,000-gros-tons.
