Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will be opening at Magic Kingdom on June 28, 2024. Ahead of the opening of this new Walt Disney World Resort attraction, there will be previews for a variety of groups including cast members, Disney Vacation Club Members, and Annual Passholders. Today, Walt Disney World Resort announced the preview dates for the Annual Passholder preview of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
Preview Dates
The preview dates for passholders will be the following:
- June 13
- June 14
- June 16
- June 17
- June 18
- June 20
Joining the Virtual Queue
For Passholders who want to experience Tiana’s Bayou Adventure through this preview. There are a few things to take note of. This is how it will work:
- A park reservation should be made for the Magic Kingdom on the preview day a passholder wants to experience the attraction. This will provide access to the 7:00 AM virtual queue window. The alternative is to make a reservation for any Walt Disney World Resort theme park to gain access to the 1:00 PM virtual queue window.
- On the day of the reservation, request to join the virtual queue via the My Disney Experience App. This can be done at 7:00 AM or 1:00 PM. The 7:00 AM virtual queue will only be accessible to Passholders with reservations to the Magic Kingdom. The 1:00 PM will be available for Passholders who have a reservation for any of the Walt Disney World parks that day.
- Remember: If a reservation is for a park other than Magic Kingdom, that park must be visited first before entering the Magic Kingdom.
- On June 13, 14, 17, 18 or 20, passholders can enter Magic Kingdom after 2:00 PM without a reservation.
- Passholders do not need to have entered a Disney theme park before joining a virtual queue.
- During the previews, Passholders will also be to join the virtual queue TRON Lightcycle / Run or Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind while also Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. This will only be for Passholders and during the previews.
There are also some specifics that Disney released about the previews, basically the fine print. They can be read here:
- Passholders must have a Walt Disney World Resort Annual Pass with valid admission on the preview date. Applicable pass block-out dates apply. Park reservations are limited and are subject to availability.
- Each Passholder can request to join a virtual queue no more than once per day.
- Joining the virtual queue does not guarantee the ability to participate in the preview. Boarding groups for a virtual queue are limited, subject to availability, and are not guaranteed. Not all boarding groups may be called to return, based on availability of the attraction. Learn more about virtual queues.

Following these previews, and other’s, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will be open to all guests visiting Magic Kingdom starting on June 28, 2024. The attraction will be opening later in 2024 at the Disneyland Resort as well.
