Marvel Studios Announces Cast of ‘The Fantastic Four’ via Valentine’s Day Card

Today Marvel Studios gave a Valentine’s Day card to its fans. This card showcased the cast of its new The Fantastic Four film. It also shared the release date as July 25, 2025. The card shows the cast sitting in a living room with a big sign above them saying “Happy Valentine’s Day!” It is very reminiscent of Valentine’s Day cards of old. The caption confirms who will be appearing in the film. Take a look at the Valentine’s Day card here:

Happy Valentine’s Day from Marvel’s First Family! Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Joseph Quinn are The Fantastic Four.

With this information, we now know that the cast of The Fantastic Four will be:

  • Pedro Pascal – Reed Richard/Mr. Fantastic
  • Vanessa Kirby – Sue Storm/The Invisible Woman
  • Joseph Quinn – Johnny Storm/The Human Torch
  • Ebon Moss-Bachrach – Ben Grimm/The Thing

This confirmation of casting ends years of speculation of who would end up playing Marvel’s First Family. This also is a new confirmation for the film’s release date with it now being July 25, 2025. This will be with WandaVision director Matt Shakman helming the film. The script was originally written by Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer with Josh Friedman (Avatar: The Way of Water) is working on the latest version.

With The Fantastic Four getting a new release date, it’s old release date isn’t empty. Thunderbolts has been put in its place and will be released on May 5, 2025.

The Fantastic Four has a rich legacy with Marvel that began in 1961. Writer Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby created the first Marvel comic at the time, Fantastic Four No. 1. This is the comic that launched the Marvel Universe.
