Jungle Cruise on Land at Disneyland

Jungle Cruise Skippers Take the Cruise on Dry Land at Disneyland

Jungle Cruise Skippers made their humor even dryer while their attraction is currently closed. This was done by using their dry humor on land cruises instead of on board their boats. They could be found out in front of the attraction making guests laugh while the attraction is worked on.

Daps Magic team member Angela stopped by to check out this land cruise by Jungle Cruise Skippers on Saturday, November 4, 2023. Guests enjoyed the unique and creative experience throughout the day. Daps Magic also has video and photos of it as well. Check them out below.

The Jungle Cruise was one of the original attractions that opened with the park on July 17, 1955. Conceived by Walt Disney and his team, the Jungle Cruise takes visitors on a guided boat tour through meticulously designed and lushly landscaped jungle scenes, inhabited by animatronic animals, tribal villages, and humorously narrated by skippers. It was inspired by the True-Life Adventure film series and also The African Queen. It provides a whimsical and slightly tongue-in-cheek adventure, offering a blend of adventure and humor. Over the years, the Jungle Cruise has undergone occasional updates and enhancements, but it remains a timeless classic and an integral part of the Disneyland experience, captivating generations of visitors with its unique blend of storytelling and jungle exploration.
