This year is an exciting one at the Disneyland Resort. Construction continues on the transformation of Downtown Disney District. This transformation has already seen significant progress. Already the new Jazz Kitchen Patio & Grill is already open and giving guests delicious food and delightful entertainment. However, there are a lot of other new things coming to the Downtown Disney District at the Disneyland Resort. This includes the new restaurant, Din Tai Fung, Paseo and Céntrico, and also eventually Porto’s Bakery & Cafe.
Throughout this transformation process, the Daps Magic team continues to monitor the progress being made and document it. This allows for a historical record for future Disney fans to look back on. It also allows for those who are interested to see this new area be built and come to life. Daps Magic team member Angela stopped by the Disneyland Resort over the weekend and took a ride on the highway in the sky to see the progress being made. Check out where the transformation of Downtown Disney District is as of October 1, 2023. There is still quite a ways to go but it is fun to watch it coming to life!
The transformation of Downtown Disney District at the Disneyland Resort is expected to be completed by the holidays in 2024.
